Do you think he’s made up of some sort of spiritual matter? Do you think he has spiritual organs and tissues? Do you think he’s shaped like a human? Do you think he has a form at all? Or do you think he’s more like a cloud of spiritual matter? How can a cloud think and make things?

Do you think God is made out of the same stuff our spirits are made of?

What do you all think of this? Atheist opinions most certainly welcome!
wanker.. I’m an atheist. I want their input cause typically they’re the only unbiased people who can have a straight conversation about solid facts. Look at that Hua-hla-hacka guy… “nope! no way that happened”… no reasoning, end of discussion :-P
Though Carl Jung has MANY interesting points, and many important contributions to early stages of psychology and psychoanalysis, the collective consciousness hoodoo is where I draw the line…
Hun-Ahau: why is it so ridiculous? Did you even read that article? It basically outlined how the information exchange could have taken place. It might be hard to believe, but information was exchanged A LOT throughout the history of humanity. Remember: the numeric system we use today originated in India and spread across Asia, Europe and North Africa via the Arabs (Hence the Arabic Number system). Gonna tell me this is impossible too?
Zack: thank you! thank you *bows*

I have read about 5 books now, on the subject, by Yahuda Berg.
I find it very interesing, and enlightening. I don’t know how far I will go with it. Anyone read about and/or practice Kabbalah?

If you don’t know anything about the Kabbalah, please don’t automatically resort to bashing God.

This is a real question. Atheists need not answer if you have the word LOGIC in your answer. .

THANKS! I want some real thinkers to contribute!
Look, Madonna is a freak. I am not talking about her. WHO CARES ABOUT MADONNA YAHOOLIANS???????? THAT IS NOT MY QUESTION!!!!!!!!!!!
I think Christians and Jews could learn something from the Kabbalah..It is fascinating and compliments the Bible and Torah (which is part of the Bible anyway.)

This is the info I found, so not my words:

Kabbalah is an ancient yet entirely new paradigm for living. It teaches that all of the branches of our lives—health, relationships, business—emanate from the same trunk and the same root. It’s the technology of how the universe works at the core level. It’s a whole new way of looking at the world that can connect you to the kind of permanent fulfillment you may be seeking.
The bottom line in Kabbalah is – the proof is in the pudding. The knowledge kabbalah.com imparts, the information we provide for you, and the tools we share must have practical results in your life, results you can feel.
One of the nice things about studying Kabbalah is that it doesn’t require you to leave your current faith or religious path. Kabbalah will merely deepen your understanding of the universe and give you more information and tools to understand why things are happening to you and how you can better connect to the light of the creator and receive the fulfillment you’re looking for.

I’m thinking yes some of the wisdom is good but come on, surely it’s common sense. Is this just another cult fad to make money? Like therepy on a mass level?
Is it no different from any other religious theory?
Is there anything good or true in what they say about the universe working in a certain way?

Like Kabbalah; Sufism is very interesting to me. I feel like I can be on fire for G-d and also respect my fellow person. :)

All that I have ever heard about Kabbalah was publicity from Madonna and Britney Spears. But I am honestly interested in this religion and I was wondering whether or not someone can shine some light on the religion? It seems pretty interesting and fascinating from what I have heard.

Thanks
Wow; thanks for the info guys. I had no clue. I still find it interesting, but I think that I am going to try something else. :)

Please give your advise! What do you think about this one also. http://kabbalah-usa.org

Thank you very much. Vitty.

I’m seriously considering this, and not just to irritate everyone.

Seems like it would have made more sense if it was simply a metaphor, not a strict guideline of what happened, how, what will happen, and what you’re supposed to do now.
