I know everybody will say the temple and sacrifices but what makes different the modern judaism from the old judaism? and what do they have in common?

I’m pretty dang sure that ‘old Judaism’ focuses more on tradition. Modern Judaism holds to their faith, but lives a more contemporary lifestyle.

You mean Judaism before the Temple was destroyed? Animal sacrifices happened at the Temple. The Cohen and Levi’s worked in the Temple.

Since the Temple has been destroyed, Cohen and Levi’s have had to find other means of employment and animals are no longer sacrficied(except for hasidic Jews who sacrifice chickens for there sins which other Orthodox Jews see as pagan or something that was never part of Judaism)
